Women’s feelings on their journeys

They say the grass is greener on the other side – and moving to a new area don’t mean the problems will just go away – it just means you may not have all the same problems – just different ones!

The photographs are from creative groupwork with women in the Midlands and on the South Coast who had relocated due to domestic violence. They were staying in women’s refuges, and the participatory sessions were carried out in collaboration with the specialist domestic violence service provider Refuge. Women chose pseudonyms and captions for their images.
